McKenzie Renae: Try It: DIY Nail Stickers

mckenzierenae:

I love a good nail design! Although I don’t get them often (a. because I don’t allow myself time to try them myself smh, and b. I’d rather get them done at the salon), here is a great DIY I spotted over at The Beauty Department on how to create your own nail stickers. I’ll definitely be trying…

Spring Eyes by ChrisspyMakeup..
1.) After prepping eyes with MAC select cover-up concealer as my base I highlight the brow bone with a MAC Mylar shadow using a MAC 252 flat brush.
2.) Next I dust Soft brown over the upper crease, then define the inner crease using MAC Handwritten shadow and a 217 Brush.
3.) Then I shade the outer corner of the lid, extending into the crease in a V shape using Carbon shadow and a brush comprable to the 239 brush (mine’s a cheapie hand-me-down brush, I don’t know the name :/ )
4-6.) Again using the 252 brush I packed MAC Pro pigments Vivid Pink, Chrome Yellow, and Mylar shadow, using a patting motion to blend them into each other. I then shaded the lower lash line with these shadows.
7.) Liner and Lashes! I used NYC liquid top liner, MAC fluidline, Maybelline Great Lash, and Dolly Wink brand lashes.
